Mr Lewis' lesson

Today we went through the rule of thirds and framing, Went over continuity and saw a good example of these in a small video clip. Got given cameras and our own tape for our group. We went out around college, to experiment and start filming our preliminary task. We decided to base our task on an interview, so that we could use various techniques such as shot reverse shot. We filmed different shots of James walking up the stairs and entering through a door into an " interview room" which was actually a corridor. Gemma and Gabi ( the novices) got used to the feel of the camera and how to work the tripod. Kash and James made the film humerous with their conversation about pringles and Kashs' mention of 'biography' instead of CV!
