Tuesday 20th April 10
Today gemma and gabi came into college slightly earlier and looked at where we were up to so we could make a plan of action for the day as we have to make the most of the time we have left!!!
We began to add sound effects to our footage, which complimented the scenes, for example, when the audiencee catch a glimpse of the killer there is a "boom" and at the end when the phone is ringing we addedd a "telephone" so it was louder than if we had recorded the actual phone. We also began to create the title page of our film, and decided on the film name being called SHADOW. All we have left to do is continue making the credits and also evaluating our work to make sure nothing lets us down.

Friday 16th April 10
On friday we continued to cut and edit our footage, it is all now piecing together nicely and we are confident in reaching our deadline. Our focus now is to continue experimenting with the soundtracks on garageband and exploring the different sound effects alongside the storyline, this will add drama and tension , enforcing our film genre but also make our film even more professional.
After making some soundtracks, we had to see if they were appropriate to our film genre , thriller, as some of the ones we made didnt fit or could be improved alot.

Today we attempted to log and capture our footage that we filmed in the holidays when we came accross a big problem! :( :'(
The screen was out of focus with lines across it, the sound had gone fuzzy and there were green spots all over the footage!
We were horrified!!!
Mr Fennel managed to save some of the footage for us, but unfortunately most of it couldnt be fixed :( :( so we are just editing what we have already, and hope we can still make the best out of it.
So today we are just going to carry on editing as the deadline is in 3 weeks.

Tuesday the 6th April
In the easter holidays we went out to re shoot some of the footage. We re shot:
- close ups of gemma when she drops her bag
- the close ups on gabi's phone and when she turns round to see that gemmas gone
- close up of the killer (james) -in full make up and balaclava
- close up of gabi's scared face, and an over the shoulder shot
- the dragging feet
- Then we also added a close up of gabi's phone ringing with her lifeless hand in view.
The first time we went out to re shoot it rained therefore we had to re shedule for another day when the weather was better, and we finally got it finished.
